The classic caption look is a bold, condensed sans-serif — the original is Futura Condensed Extra Bold. This tool defaults to Anton, a free font with the same heavy, narrow shape. You can switch to any of the 13 handwriting fonts, or load your own.
How do I caption a GIF without a watermark?+

Does the caption cover part of the GIF?+
No. The caption bar is added above the animation, so the output GIF is taller than the original and nothing in the picture is hidden. To put text on the picture itself, switch the style to Text on GIF.
